Professional Community Standards

Purpose

The Professional Community is a space for qualified skincare professionals to learn, share, and support one another in serving melanin-rich skin. These standards extend the shared Community Standards with expectations appropriate to professional discussion.

Professional Conduct

As a Professional Community member, you agree to:

• Do not diagnose clients. Share education, not clinical diagnoses.
• Do not prescribe medication or treatment. Refer clinical decisions to qualified, licensed providers.
• Do not make unsupported medical claims. Avoid guarantees, cures, or outcomes you cannot substantiate.
• Do not share identifiable client information. Use anonymized descriptions only — no names, contact details, or other identifiers.
• Do not share client photos without appropriate authorization. Photos require the client's explicit consent for the specific use.
• Do not solicit clients inappropriately. The Professional Community is for education and peer support, not advertising or recruitment.
• Do not present general education as individualized clinical advice. Clarate that shared guidance is educational, not a personal treatment plan.
• Respect professional boundaries. Treat peers, clients discussed, and all community members with dignity.
• Maintain confidentiality. What is shared in confidence stays in confidence.

Educational, Not Clinical

My Royal Ritual and the Professional Community provide education. They do not establish a provider–client relationship, and content shared here is not a substitute for independent professional judgment or licensed care.

Enforcement

These standards apply alongside the shared Community Standards. Violations may result in warning, temporary suspension, or removal from the Professional Community, at the discretion of My Royal Ritual moderation.

Posts and images in the Professional Community may be reviewed by automated Trust & Safety tools (including AI-assisted moderation) before or after publishing. This processing is separate from the optional AI Data Sharing setting and is used only to keep the community safe — not for personalization.
